Portable Maintenance Access Terminal 2000 (PMAT 2000^®)

The PMAT 2000 is a specialized Portable Maintenance Access Terminal designed for a ten-year life cycle and specifically tailored for aircraft maintenance use. It is a portable device derived from our PMAT/NT that is installed as standard equipment on the 777. Unlike commercial laptops, not only does the PMAT 2000 provide digitized maintenance manuals at the aircraft, but it also has the unique aircraft interfaces for ARINC 615 data loading and connectivity with the aircraft central maintenance systems for fault analysis. It supports a wireless link through which ground support personnel can interface directly with the server from outside the aircraft. The PMAT 2000 is also provided with LoadStar^®, an application program that controls the configuration of loadable software on each aircraft type and tail number in the airline's fleet.
