ARINC 615A Data Loader

The ARINC 615A Loader software is fully compliant with the ARINC 615A standards.

Features of the ARINC 615A dataloading software:

• Loads over Ethernet and AFDX buses. Optional loading over CAN is available when using the PMAT 2000.
• Runs on Windows 2000 and Windows XP operating system

• Uploads directly from removable media such as Floppy Disk, USB devices, external CDROM or PCMCIA cards.
• Uploads and Downloads from/to internal mass storage. Loadable Software part configuration is optionally managed by the LoadStar application.
• Supports multiple configurations of Ethernet address and netmask.
• Software LSP are managed and organized by the LoadStar application.
• Special accommodations for the Boeing EFB:
  • The ARINC 615A Loader supports a serial upload mode where an upload of multiple parts is performed as a series of uploads. This is the default operation when loading an EFB but can be commanded for any target, if desired.
  • Both ARINC 615A and LoadStar application support a ARINC 665 parsing algorithm that supports non standard file names in ARINC 665 parts and allows for duplicate file names to exist in a media set. This algorithm has been incorporated in the ARINC 665-3 specification.
